Child benefit (kinderbijslag) is money from the government towards the expenses of raising a child. If you live or work in the Netherlands and you have a child or children under 18, you may be able to get Dutch child benefit. Dutch child benefit is paid by the SVB (Sociale Verzekeringsbank).
